March is here!

March starts at the beginning of Spring and all the new beginnings associated with this special time of year. The groundhog said: “Early Spring” and I think he must be right. The daffodils and tulips are poking out, and with the right amount of rain and sunshine, it will not be long before everything starts to bloom. Spring is all about new ideas and transformations. It’s a season that symbolizes starting fresh and starting over.

It is time to renew/join KWSC.  Membership dues for the 2024- 2025 year are $50. You have until June to register and your payment. 

We are already starting to think about next year…Ballots have been e-mailed to members to vote for next year’s Executive Board.  The new club board starts July 1, 2024. So be sure to vote for the next Executive Board. 

We are excited to have many amazing new members join us this year with new ideas and new social activity wishes. These women have already begun to be involved in many social activities and Special Interest Groups (SIG).

As we look toward the last two months of this club year, we have our Spring Fashion Show to be held on April 8 at Kingsmill Resort.  We are pleased to have Chico’s as our vendor.  As usual, the Fashion Show promises to be a fun event.  We are even having a “Special Guest”.

Mark your Calendars… Look for e-mails from KWSC and announcements in “Inside Kingsmill” of our upcoming events in 2024.  Our Annual Meeting is May 6 when we close out the year. 

The KWSC has a proud history of community, and we want to continue that vision.  Becoming involved in club activities offers the opportunity to build relationships and friendships within our community.  Had it not been for this club, many of our paths would never have crossed.
